Taking Responsibility

The Society of Laboratory Animal Science (GV-SOLAS) is a registered association committed to the responsible use and care of laboratory animals. It sees itself as a mediator between animal welfare and research for the benefit of both humans and animals.
GV-SOLAS serves as a competent point of contact for legislators, scientists, and the public whenever expertise on laboratory animals and their welfare is required.
In addition, GV-SOLAS organizes scientific conferences and seminars. Current training and continuing education opportunities on various topics in laboratory animal science can be found in the Events section.
